Part (most) of me wishes that hurricane Sandy was hitting the south harder and that work would be cancelled. There’s something extra-special about unexpected days off from work that makes them feel more relaxing than a weekend. It’s like the world is mandating that you stay in bed all day and snuggle with your boo and indulge in hot cocoa and mashed potatoes and homemade sugar cookies.  OK world, if you insist, I’ll stay in bed all day and hold R until we get bed sores.
