My big old loaf of a fat cat is super friendly. He loves everyone and everything: people, other cats, dogs, thing on TV, feathers, hair clips, refrigerator magnets.
Someone infused his blood with cannabis when he was born and he’s been in a continuous blazed state for the past six years.
I’ve always thought that he could use a friend around the house and so this past weekend I decided to go look (just look! not buy! no commitments!) at a kitten. Well, one thing lead to another and it all happened SO QUICKLY and before I knew it I had adopted a cute little furball. She’s 10 weeks old and was found very, very sick living under the dumpster behind Osteria in Virginia Highlands. Since she was found behind an Italian restaurant, we named her Mama Mia (Mia for short).
She’s totally adorable and teeny teeny tiny. She and Darwin are already best buds. They play-wrestle all the time (no, seriously, all.the.time. Even in the middle of the night…). They even snuggle and kiss one another.
Needless to say, I’m totally happy with my adoption. My big boy is happy as a clam to have a buddy to play and cuddle with and Mia is much better off than she was just a few weeks ago!
